Higher education; withholding state monies
Fifty-seventh Legislature - First Regular Session (2025)
A higher education institution in this state is ineligible to receive state monies in any fiscal year in which the higher education institution offers one or more courses on diversity, equity and inclusion.
"Course on diversity, equity and inclusion" [...] means any course that includes materials or instruction [...]that do any of the following:
(I) relate contemporary American society to [...]intersectionality, gender identity, social justice, cultural competence, allyship, [...] gender-based diversity, [...] gender-based equity, [...] or gender-based inclusion.
