A financial institution shall not do either of the following: (1) Discriminate in the provision of financial services to a person. [...] "Discriminate in the provision of financial services" means taking an adverse action against a customer on the basis of one of the following criteria: [...] (dd) Failure or refusal to conduct any type of racial, diversity, or gender audit or disclosure or to provide any sort of quota, preference, or benefit based, in whole or in part, on race, diversity, or gender.
Each secretary or other agency head [...] shall do the following to the maximum extent allowable by law: (a) Abolish all DEI programs, offices, and positions and all DEI performance requirements for employees. (b) Provide for the revision of all DEI-related rules and practices as necessary to comply with Subparagraph (a) of this Paragraph. (2) Submit a written report to the commissioner of administration not later than December 31, 2025, detailing actions taken in compliance with Paragraph (1) of this Subsection.
Agencies, departments, public postsecondary education institutions, and offices are prohibited from the following: (1) Maintaining or creating any initiative, training, or office related to DEI. (2) Employing, contracting, engaging, or hiring an individual to perform functions related to DEI. (3) Requiring or soliciting an applicant, employee, or student to provide a written or oral statement regarding DEI. (4) Extending any preferential treatment based on race, color, ethnicity, sex, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation in making decisions at public postsecondary education institutions on admissions, state-supported financial-aid, scholarships, or other services or benefits.
