Threatening leafleting. Creates the crime of threatening leafleting, a Class A misdemeanor, and provides a penalty enhancement.
2025 Regular Session
(a) A person who intentionally places written material on the private property of any person that would cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized, frightened, intimidated, or threatened and that actually causes the victim to feel terrorized, frightened, intimidated, or threatened commits threatening leafleting, a Class A misdemeanor, except as provided in subsection (b).
(b) The offense is a Level 6 felony if the threatening leafleting is because of the actual or perceived: [...] (5) sexual orientation; (6) gender identity or expression;
