Establishes provisions relating to covenant marriages
2024 Regular Session
A notarized attestation of the intent to convert a standard marriage license to a covenant marriage license shall be in the following form: "DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONVERT TO COVENANT MARRIAGE A COVENANT MARRIAGE We solemnly declare that we believe that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman who agree to live together as husband and wife for as long as they both live.
