2024 Regular Session
The governing board of each institution of higher education shall establish curricula and designate courses at the institution in a manner that does not require or constrain students to enroll in a DEI-CRT related education, major, minor, or certificate requirements, except as provided for in subsection D of this section. [...] “DEI-CRT related content” means content that does one or more of the following: a. relates any of the following topics to contemporary American society: [...] gender identity, social justice, cultural competence, allyship, [...] gender-based diversity, race- or gender-based equity, or race- or gender-based inclusion
