Requiring each county board of education, in consultation with certain individuals, to develop and implement a certain policy to promote parental involvement in students' education; establishing a complaint and appeals process for violations of a certain policy; etc.
Each county board, in consultation with parents, teachers, and school personnel, shall develop and implement a policy to promote the involvement of the parents in the education of students in the county. [...] The policy developed under this subsection shall include procedures for: [...] (iv) obtaining parental consent before a student uses gender pronouns that do not match with the student’s biological sex.
Prohibiting a licensed health care practitioner from prescribing, dispensing, or administering a cross-sex hormone or otherwise providing cross-sex hormone therapy for the treatment of certain mental health diagnoses to an individual who is a minor.
A health care practitioner licensed under this article may not prescribe, dispense, or administer cross–sex hormones or otherwise provide cross–sex hormone therapy for the purposes of treating a mental health diagnosis associated with gender nonconformity, including gender dysphoria, to an individual who is a minor.
Requiring certain interscholastic and intramural junior varsity and varsity athletic teams or sports sponsored by certain schools to be expressly designated based on biological sex; prohibiting certain entities from taking certain adverse actions against a school for maintaining separate interscholastic and intramural junior varsity and varsity athletic teams and sports for students of the female sex; and providing that certain individuals have the right to bring a civil action under certain circumstances.
An interscholastic or intramural junior varsity or varsity athletic team or sport designated for girls, females, or women may not include students of the male sex.
Requiring certain interscholastic and intramural junior varsity and varsity athletic teams or sports sponsored by certain schools to be expressly designated in a certain manner; prohibiting certain interscholastic and intramural junior varsity and varsity athletic teams or sports from including certain students; prohibiting certain entities from taking certain adverse actions against a school under certain circumstances; etc.
An interscholastic or intramural junior varsity or varsity athletic team or sport that is sponsored by a public or nonpublic high school shall be expressly designated as one of the following based on biological sex: (I) a boys’, male, or men’s team or sport; (ii) a girls’, female, or women’s team or sport; or (iii) a coeducational or mixed team or sport.
