Relating to prohibiting certain conduct by physicians and health care providers involving gender transitioning and gender reassignment procedures and treatments for children; creating a criminal offense.

PROHIBITED PROVISION OR FACILITATION OF GENDER TRANSITIONING OR GENDER REASSIGNMENT PROCEDURES AND TREATMENTS TO CERTAIN CHILDREN. For the purpose of transitioning a child's biological sex as determined by the sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous profiles of the child or affirming the child's perception of the child's sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child's biological sex, a physician or health care provider may not knowingly:
(5) refer a child to a health care practitioner who is licensed or otherwise authorized to provide health care in another state, to facilitate the child's ability to receive in the other state a procedure or treatment that would otherwise be prohibited by this section if the procedure or treatment occurred in this state.
